The Documentation Centre was established in December 1997 in the wake of renewed interest and fervour for studies. It was set up by the Municipal Library of Correggio, where it has its headquarters, which also availed itself of the valuable collaboration of Tondelli scholars, first among them Fulvio Panzeri, editor of his works. The centre collects all of Tondelli’s published works, including foreign language editions: novels, essays, short stories, articles, theatrical texts, literary projects and so on. It does not limit itself to housing only bibliographic material, but also intends to acquire and conserve other testimonies on the writer (photographs, audio and video recordings, correspondence, etc.), in order to respond more and more fully to the continual demand for materials and tools from critics, scholars or simple enthusiasts of Tondelli’s work, thus achieving the project’s objective of becoming an essential point of reference for study and research on Pier Vittorio Tondelli and his work.
